C5 SHOWROOM was inaugurated on 10 June 2008 in the gardens of a country estate in Santa Cruz de Lians (Oleiros - A Coruña) with the aim of catering to established collectors with special interests, such as in outdoor sculpture or large-scale works. Above all, it was designed to expand our fieldwork in Galicia into a geographic area that lacked a respectable contemporary art space and at the same time to redirect, with the appropriate technical management, public and private collections. C5 Showroom is a space open to the public—by appointment—whose goal is to offer the confidentiality and personal treatment that these types of operations require.

The gallery and this new space maintain a conceptual and formal coherence, guided as they are by the same foundational philosophy, that which, for Susan Sontag, constitutes the highest and most liberating value of art: transparency.
